Mirror, Mirror

The Fountain Paint Pot area in Yellowstone National Park is known for its geothermal features and colorful mud pots. At night, the park takes on a different kind of beauty, with the Milky Way stretching across the sky and stars shining brightly.

Walking along the boardwalk I noticed the reflections of roadside trees in the wet mud. The trees towered along the road, stretching towards the sky like dark fingers. The wet mud reflected their image like a mirror, creating a mesmerizing effect that seemed to blend the trees with their own reflection.

The Milky Way arching overhead created a stunning backdrop to the scene. Its soft glow illuminated the landscape, casting everything in a pale blue light. The stars twinkled like diamonds in the sky, and danced with the reflection of the trees in the mud.
